We're OK Foundation was founded in March of 2023 by three ΒΒΒindividuals with a single common bond - a desire to reduce and stop euthanasia of healthy adoptable animals. We had a desire to help those animals that found themselves lost, abandoned, neglected or mistreated and through no fault of their own ended up at local shelter's and on the "E list." We were especially concerned about those discarded by their owners and placed in shelters due to age, health, or other problems that made them less likely to be eligible to go through a shelter's adoption program. We work to take in animals, get them all the necessary care they need, and screen adopters to ensure they are going to the best fit home for both the animal and the humans! We also transport dogs out of state when we can and have a monthly kitty transport out of state to help alleviate the overpopulation here and get them to states that aren't overpopulated as Oklahoma.
