History

Formed in 2025, Here for Cardio began as a group of Texas Roadhouse servers (and one fearless manager) who wanted an excuse to get out of the restaurant and onto the court. What started as post-shift jokes about “needing more cardio” turned into a real team—well, real-ish. With a roster built on hustle, humor, and a couple of friends from outside the restaurant, we’ve made our mark as the team that plays hard, laughs harder, and never takes ourselves too seriously. Whether we’re running plays or just running to catch our breath, we’re here for one thing—cardio.
